User Guide

Step by step

  1. Go to the Decision Console page and pick a provider from the dropdown (Jev, Clef, or Perplexity Decisions).
  2. Describe the situation in plain language — like you're telling a colleague what's going on. Or click one of the example buttons to auto-fill it.
  3. Choose a question type:
    • Yes / No — simplest option, asks “is this true?”
    • Pick one option — use when there are a few categories to choose between.
    • Rate on a scale — use when you want a severity/intensity rating.
  4. Type your question, and if you picked “Pick one option” or “Rate on a scale”, also fill in the options/levels list underneath.
  5. Click Ask.
  6. Read the result — it's a number or a chosen option, not a sentence. Expand “Raw response” if you want to see the full data that came back.

A quick example

Situation: “Patient has chest pain and trouble breathing.”
Question: “Does this person need emergency care?”
Result: 97% yes — that single number is the complete answer.
